We renamed the Chapter earlier this year to honor Roland Hemond, one of Major League Baseball’s greats. He will be a headliner at the upcoming Arizona Fall League Conference. The yearly event, this year slated for Nov. 2-4 in Scottsdale, projects to be our best yet.
There will be ballgames, guest appearances, panel discussions and a dinner at the famous Don & Charlie’s. We urge our local members to attend, if not the entire conference, but some of the individual events. As always, it will be a fun time had by all.
It’s our pledge to get you all more involved. We want your blogs, your ideas and most of all your presence.
Good luck to the D-backs and all your favorite teams in the upcoming playoffs.
All the best,
Barry M. Bloom, Tony DeMarco, Chuck Johnson and Bill Suphan
