Mining Towns to Major Leagues

Mining Towns to Major Leagues: A History of Arizona Baseball was published in conjunction with the 1999 Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) National Convention in Scottsdale, AZ.

The 64-page book is the only published overview of Arizona’s rich baseball history. Mining Towns tracks baseball in the state’s territorial days through its first pitch in the major leagues. The printing was limited to 1,000 copies which have long since sold out.

Mining Towns to Major Leagues is available in digital form for the first time since its initial release by the Flame Delhi Arizona SABR Chapter.
